November 27 - House of Blues, Los Angeles, CA
I got my ticket :)
Should be a badass show. My friend went to see them about a year ago at that same location, and said it was really good.
I don't know who the fuck Trivium is though. I heard they are kinda 'meh' but whatever. I'm there to see Bodom. I've heard Amon Amarth will be fun.

I just called the curtain club and you can't see Bodom there unless your 17, i'm only 15, oh and is there something wrong with me if i like Trivium?

oh man , im going down to MA with a friend of mine to see them
I might go to the NYC show exclusively for Amon Amarth. CoB are great but I just don't really care for them, and much less nowadays. Trivium just suck ass.

I was in Utah on the 19th And it was a good show
But Amon Amarth only played like 4 or 5 songs and were the first ones
So it was really short, but i wish i could of see more of them.
Trivium made the biggest pit in there,(I dont know if it was cause of the Hardcore people) they were ok they played alot of songs. The bassits is a little guy hahahaha.
C.O.B Fuckin badass like and hour long show or more dont remember. But it was
cool everybody went nuts. Alexi another small guy. The drummer had a solo
And then it was Alexi and the keyboard guy doing solo's it was cool to see
It was a good show but wish Amon Amarth was the headline.

Yaaay, Trivium.
This show was amazing.
Ive seen COB 2 other times and they were so-so, but this time they were waayy more sober. The lighting, the EQ and Sound quailty, how well they preformed, and how the setlist was setup was fucking incredible. They have reallly stepped their game up on this tour, as they should be considering they are headlining.
Our show was sold out, i was so fuckin lucky to get in.

aewsome. im so excited
how were AA and what did they play
They were ok, it was cool to see them live, but there sound sucked ass. It was ear peircingly painfull and you could barley hear the solos. They finished it off with death in fire, and did a couple others off of versus (the only one i have of theres.) They put on a good show though, major viking style.

I might go, I haven't decided. I don't really like any of the bands but a bunch of my friends are going. The crowd size is at least double that of Winners. I got to the front row for Therion, but it was impossible for Nevermore/Opeth. You might be able to do it if you rush right in there. But then, there is also the possibility of being crushed. When a pit starts and the floor is crowded, you REALLY feel it in the front.

I was right up behind the people in the front railing. Amon went first, then Trivium, then COB. Amon set was good, I could see them perfectly and everything went smoothly. 1st half of Trivium set was good too, but then douche bags started getting out of hand and pushing the crowd like crazy. Then through the whole COB set, all my friend and I were doing, was pushing people back to prevent from getting killed. We were all getting squished, and my legs were like cramping up cuz there was literally no space between anyone. It was fucking hot as hell and I was gettin all thirsty and shit too. They played well and had a good set list though.

Yeah, same thing happened at my first Nevermore/Opeth show. I could not lift my hands out from by my side, it was so compact.

was there fag dancing during trivium
Silent Night 6 6
2005-11-27, 19:39
Well I couldn't directly see any dancing, but I assume there was cuz I saw people flyin around in the middle. There were buncha fags crowd surfing on top of that, as if it wasn't bad enough already. One other thing, the tone was horrible, and I could barely hear the solos. But anyways, on a good note, since we were in the front on the right side, every time they came to the side, we were like right up in front of them. And buncha times during the show, they came to the side and gave high fives and some of my friends were right there to receive them.

i cant believe amon opened for trivium
Hahah maybe for some people yeah, but when you think about it, Trivium is gonna have more success here in the States than Amon. They were doing their synchronized windmills and the vocalist had like a horn thing that he had like water in it or something and after every song he took a swig out of it. After the show, he was out signing autographs and stuff. He was right there so I felt like getting something signed, but I'm not really an Amon fan or anything so I didn't.

Haha yeah, I felt the same way for a second, cuz I was leaving the building and then my friend was like "Hey look there's the Viking guy!" and I felt like going there cuz there was no line or anything, like you could just go right up to him and say stuff, but I didn't cuz I don't even know shit about Amon so I probably would've looked like an idiot going up to him and not knowing what to say.

I went to the show in LA yesterday. What a badass show. Amon Amarth were good. They closed with Death In Fire which I enjoyed, and I hadn't even heard their stuff before. So they did a good job.
Trivishit came on a stunk up the venue. The vocalist threw his pick out and then someone down front threw it back. I laughed hard at that. I didn't get anything from their music.
CoB came on and put on a BADASS show. It was really great. The sound was superb, and they played a lot of good songs. Obviously they played stuff from their new album too. I didn't think too much of the album itself, but apparently it sounds really good live. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Well worth the money.
I will definately go see them next time round.

I've always thought Bodom puts on good live shows when they are headlining. Just watch some of the bootlegs of their shows in Japan and Korea. Too bad Alexi is a douchebag with their new music. All the faggot Trivium fans are now probably bodom fanboys and fangirls. Trivium suck. They are part of the breed of shitty metalcore bands. Gaahhh. I haven't heard much about Amon Amarth's live sets but I would hope they would be pretty decent considering their one of the best viking bands out there.

Badass Show! Alexi was totally on target last night. I got some killer pics of of everyone. Here's some crazy shit... after the show was over. The whole band of god forbid was out drinking n shit in at the bar. My bro was over there shooting the shit with em. Next thing I know...we're going out to the car and god forbids drummer is coming out with us. We get in my ride and fire up a doobie and sit there and get high with god forbids drummer. He's so fucking cool! He was telling us stories about LoG, Slipknot, and Slayer. Some of the stuff was so hilarious. He's one down to earth dude.
