As always, Old Man's Child's Cds are great, hopefully this one will be just as good. The drummer for this one is Reno Kiilerich, and as usual, Galder on guitar, bass and synth and Jaror on gutars too.
"The US division of Century Media has announced a North American release date for the forthcoming new studio album "Vermin". The album will hit the stores on October 18. Century Media Europe has yet to confirm the schedules for the rest of the world..." -Oldmanschild.tk
This is gonna be one sick ass album
Old Mans Child is a sick sick group. They did an awsome job with In Defiance of Existance. Reno Killerich is one crazy motherfucking drummer. I can only imagine the drums on this next cd. Galdar is wonderful with his synth and guitar playing. All in all it sounds like its going to be one of the best yet.

FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait, one of my favorite bands.
They are decent black metal. Some cool riffs here and there.
Hmm... I've heard a lot about them but I've never listened to them before. Oh wait, maybe I have in one of those old black metal compilations. Maybe now's the time I should go check them out. What bands do OMC sound like?

They're pretty original actually. But they sound like Dimmu Borgir, and alot like Emperor.

Old Mans Child rule. I'll most likely get this album. Theres something about them i really like, it like puts me in a fantasy mood. I dont know, their awesome. They do sounds alot like Dimmu. I would think that Galder has a big role in writing both in Dimmu and OMC.

lol of course they sound like Dimmu Borgir.. IT'S GALDER dammit!! lol :P
OMC's album "In Defiance of Existance" is pretty good and has what I consider to be their best song, Black Seeds Over Virgin Soil.

This album was leaked like 2 months ago. All i'll say is its the best album they've released to date.
I like it a lot so far. Never heard the band, then I got some songs from the album and liked it a lot.

OMC fucking rules...the dark sounding guitars, the perfect balance of synth and guitar work...grand...also the vocals are out of this world. They have this certain...hatred behind them...especially on certain parts of songs (i.e. Felonies of the Christian Art...the last line that goes "Summon the Beast, and Crush 'Em") fucking priceless.
yeah new cd rules

Was never really a fan of Old Mans Child, but I Faded out of the Dimmu black metal scene long ago. Maybe I'll check this one out though

I think Old Mans Child are basically just Dimmu Borgir 2 but that would be explained with the connection of members between bands. Well the older stuff was very similar anyway.......
