CANNIBAL CORPSE will shortly be releasing a five-song EP, Worm Infested, containing three unreleased tracks from their most recent release, Gore Obsessed, and two Japanese bonus tracks. A strictly limited-edition, numbered collectors' EP, Worm Infested will only be available in its initial pressing and will be sold exclusively through the band's and the Metal Blade Records web site as well as on the group's forthcoming tour, scheduled to begin in October (also featuring MACABRE and CATTLE DECAPITATION, as well as one or two as-yet-undetermined acts).






Sweet huh? Anyways, once again I got that from Blabbermouth.net which seems to scoop just about every band's own site on fucking news! What's the deal man? Cannibal Corpse is one of the worst at maintaining a site too, and this is big fuckin news to a CC fan. Jeeeez.

I got a bone to pick with Metal Blade though. They're re-releasing CC's first three albums with extra live audio and video tagged onto them. Pretty cool at first it seemed, but the live tracks are from a 2001 tour!! What the fuckin fuck? Why not make the re-releases really worth buying and put some live tracks that were actually of those albums era?

Eh, that really pissed me off. We have quite a bit of live stuff with the Corpsegrinder but damned if we don't have shit with Barnes.

Disciple, if you mean you'll have it Friday cuz you're going to see them you're gonna get to see some good shit. I just saw Cattle Decapitation a week or so ago, that was heavy as hell. I have to say their singer is easily one of the most versatile singers in extreme music today (and none of the guys have long hair, which is great as a change from all the damn rat headed men). BTW, good work bringin the new CC ep to our attention Slayme

I saw Cannibal Corpse three weeks ago in concert (with Severe Torture opening for them). Good concert! Cannibal Corpse started the gig by playing the complete version of "From skin to Liquid" from the Gallery record. Very nice.

The first two tracks kick ass, like them very much. Fast stuff and some unbelievable riffs from O'Brien. I like my Cannibal Corpse fast and technical :) . The first track has the production of Bloodthrist which I prefer over the GoreObsessed sound.

The third has an eighties vibe,sounds cool. Kind of Kill em all goes death.

The fourth: Barnes eat your heart out. Good remake of the classic from the first album.

This is an excellent mini cd ,the amazing thing is that those songs are all supposed to be B-sides,they're as good as the fullalbum stuff though.

I couldn't agree more on that. These cuts really coulda been on a full length album. The Undead Will Feast cover is awesome, fuckin excellent update to a classic.
