I'm on Carentan. I can get through the first two "patches" of enemy, but on the third, those fuckers with their damn Stg44 keep mowing me and my squad down! I like it how at the beginning all the enemy's got are K98's, and then as you progress the enemy get's equipped with better weapons (with a higher rate of fire).

I tried going to back to Call of Duty and play a couple of levels, but after BiA, I simply can't play it. Oh have you got BiA on PC? I have it on X-box, and it's a bitch to aim.

"Beyond Hill 30", I've heard of it, I hear it should be out this Autumn, I can't wait for it either!

Eh, but someone should really make a game about a WWII German Fallschimjager unit or perhaps equally good a Russian VDV unit (heh, Paratrooper forces are a favourite of mine). Now the former ain't gonna happen, but it would amazing to see a BiA type game of a VDV unit.

War isn't predictable.. this game is. Full Spectrum Warrior does a better job.. its alot harder too.

Dont get me wrong, its a great concept and fun for the first few levels... but they never bothered to give you any reason to continue the game. Half way through you realise that you have been playing the same mission, just different levels.. and some with a tank.. Its still, covering fire, run around.. shoot... repeat.

Its replay value is just low. Im just happy I downloaded it.

ive been playing Mario RPG. i think this game kicks ass. i like rpgs, and this ones so much cooler than most any other one. plus the game looks great, if anyones ever played it here, you know what im talking about.

For me it's a tie between FF7 and FF8. Love the story snd the Materia system of 7 and I like the graphics, Junction system, and gameplay of 8. Just talking about it makes me want to start playing both again right now.

I love 9 too; the way the final boss was something completely unexpected won quite a bit of points from me. I think 7 is just slightly overrated. And I have no idea why so many people hate 8.

FF9 is my favorite...I personally liked the storyline better than the others. That and the characters were so loveable. The simple ability system was appealing too. Too bad Tetra Master doesn't live up to Triple Triad. (Now I sound like a nerd.)

Recently though I just played through the Knuckles portion of Sonic Adventure...I'll have to put my Dreamcast away soon and bring out Mega Collection plus for PS2. I've yet to be Sonic 3 and Knuckles with Super Tails. That and nothing beats a healthy dose of Comix Zone. Nothing.

Yeah, I am that way on FF Origins. I'm at the last dungeon in FF 1 (Mirage Tower I think), and I just can't go beat it. Probably because you can't save in the middle of dungeons and therefore I would have to set aside and hour or two to go beat it.

I still need to beat 7, 8, and 9. I got really far on them and suddenly stopped playing them for some reason.I did the samething man. I'm inches away from the final bosses on both 7 and 8 and I gave up for no reason.

On 7 every charcter is on level 99 and I have every summon. I guess I stopped because I wanted to beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon but I never could so I gave up. I know I want Omni Slash (sp?) mastered before I go further so I can use it with mime or I can do it and Knights of the Round over and over again. Damn, now I sound like a nerd.

On 8 I have everything is on level 99 except Eden which is the best GF on the game. I stopped right before the last battle so I can level up Eden because when it's completely leved up it's attack can be boosted to do 100,000 damage. Its a really old save too, I named everything after a death metal band I knew at the time like Deicide, Opeth, Exhumed, and Immolation.

Not a bad game in my opinion, the training should be much more in-depth and rigorous though, and I think you should have a ranking system along with the experience tally. Anyway, if anyone likes modern technology FPS' (and i usually don't) I'd recommend this.

I am now playing Baten Kaitos. This game sucks. I have been trying to force myself through it since the early winter or so. I re-started once, so I could get everything from the beginning, and now I am 11 hours or so into it again, these 11 hours being put on after a span of months. Upon playing these 11 hours, I fully realized how completely fucking lame the characters and dialogue is. The landscapes are gorgeous, and the fighting system is fun, but watching the actual "story" play out is gimpy.

I thought it was quite easy to control once you get into the "groove" of things. It also took some time for me to get used to aiming with an X-Box controller, since I've never played console FPS' before. My only gripe with BiA is the lack of diverse terrain, I would love it if the game was expanded and included other 101st combat arenas.

Battlfield 1942 would have been fun if it didn't fucking lag so much on my computer!

If you've got Operation Flashpoint, check out the WWII mod's in developemnt for it. I think one mod of the campaign in Italy has already been released.

Btw, does anyone remember the game "Panzer Commander"? Man, that game kicked ass. If only they would release an updated version.

Well it lagged on the lowest graphics settings on my comp (512mb, 1.8Ghz, Geforce2 graphics card), so it'll probably not work to well on yours.

Ooh and I just realised San Andreas is out on X-Box, I'll get it in a month or so.
theres a four gig san andreas on some bittorrents now, for computer. fully funcitonal. if you are that impatient :P

and when you say it lagged... did it lag in online only? it was probably your internet connection if it only lagged online

Just completed the Brothers in Arms game. Yep, it's my fave WWII FPS for sure.

I still prefer Call Of Duty, can't wait for the second one to come out.

But do not use it while fighting a group of zombies useless you're really good at attacking and running.

That Tyrant was hard at first but since I figured that the knife is useful I had a ton of extra ammo. It's been a while since I played it but I know you got to hit him with the crate about three times to kill it. Damn, I'm the Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Tony Hawk guru.

Yeah, I used to think COD was the best, but when I went back to it after BiA, it was shit. I need to get my hands on HD 2, I hear it's very good.

It was easy, but I thought it was harder than every game in the series except Veronica. But I love the layout of the game and scenery but I hope they'll bring back the zombies. It isn't RE without them, they may not be as tough as the villagers but if they put more than usual then it will be interesting. Plus I don't remember who was wanting to buy it but I found a copy in EB Games for $39.00 and a cheaper copy used.

Also the new City of the Dead title or the XBOX 360 looks amazing! George Romero said that every object in the game is movable and can be used for barricades or traps. You can also wrap barbed wire around your shotgun and use it as a melee weapon.

it is a quality game, very hard on hard mode though. it looks awesome when you lay down a load of machinegun fire on your enemies.
