how come no one loves them anymore, they were, like, the best melodic death metal band out there, I love them so much... The Haunted too, when's their next CD coming out?

SUICIDE NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats, like, their best song!!!!!! I know they're gone, but they're such a sweet band!!!!:( I just haven't heard much about them, and they're one of the influencial bands on the scene. So many people emulate them it's almost sickening, it just saddens me that hardly anyone's spoken a word aobut them since i've been into metal at all. I just have to give it up for them 'cause when they were around, no one could fuckin touch them!!!

The Crown rock all man.
Tomas appears on their cd Deathrace king on the song devil gate ride
And is the singer on their last album Crowned in terror

they're NOT the best.


It is a cool metal band but I prefer bands as: Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Skymning, Gates of Ishtar and so on...

At The Gates kick ass. The crown doesn't compare, i find the random wammy bar squeals rather annoying. Didnt some of the remaining members go on to form The Haunted, or am i completely wrong on that one?

at the gates was awsome, slaughter of the soul is one of the best albums ever to be released. terminal spirit disease is good too. its a shame that they are no more:bawling:

Hmm, I like At The Gates, I bought all their albums a while back. 'Slaughter Of The Soul' owns together with 'Terminal Spirit Disease'. I find 'The Red In The Sky Is Ours' and 'With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness' annoying though. Mostly because of how whiney the singer sounds and how quickly it gets on your nerves on them.

I once heard someone say that In Flames now is what At The Gates would have become if they had continued. I agree, it's better that At The Gates quit when they did.
