512 is enough unless you are running 1,000,000 programs all at once. As far as the hard disk is concerned - 80gb isn't bad, buit its towards the low end of the market these days. I have 2 hard drives, 1 80 gb and 1 160 gb. It always ammuses me to see these Dell computers though, because usually they overcharge and you can't upgrade the computers for shit, because they come in a tiny box that is hard - if not impossible to open.

My recomendation to anybody buying computers is to go to an independent computer store and get one from there. All the independent stores areound here are run buy young blokes whom are more than happy to help you with your troubles.
However the thing to remember with computers, is prices of components is EXTREMELY volitile. I have seen the price of ram go up $40 in less than a week.

I should seriously post a review thread of this product, since I'm willing to bet that I am the only metaltabs poster who owns one. I am really taken aback by this, it sounds fucking great, especially for it being 97$ total brand new.

I also just discovered a CD-R ( in my dad's cd collection ) with Cubase and Logic Platinum on it! My dad is very close with a music pastor at a local ( i.e. huge ) church, replete with a 15,000$ digital studio. I knew he had burned my dad a couple of cds with music software, but I had no idea he had put these programs on them. "Emagic Logic Audio Platinum" and "Steingberg Cubase VST32 v.5.1". I've just obtained 3-600 dollars of recording software for ... nothing :eek:

Good so far. I only heard a few songs on the way back home and just finished watching the Death video. I'll post a review thread in the bands section in a week or two if no one else has (I will be listening to it over and over in my car). It's funny because I was still listening to Napalm Death's "Leaders not Followers part 2" over and over in my car since nothing else that good has come out lately.

I got pissed off watching the Death video because I looked at the tour dates for the year it was filmed (1998) and noticed they skipped San Diego. If I had known they were playing at the Whiskey in L.A. I would have been there for sure and I guarantee I would have seen myself in the mosh pit on this video during "Zombie Ritual" and "Pull the Plug". :bawling:

so this guy that used to be my manager, before he got fired, is really into xboxs. He "modded" mine about 4 months ago so that now i can play burnt games. Well, just the other day i payed him 15 to save over 2000 games onto my xbox! Most of them are for NES (about 2,000), which is cool. There arnt too many 64 games on there, but i can add more anytime. And there are 500 super nintendo games on there. When i come up with another couple hundred games it will only be 5 bucks to get all of them added. I already have enough games to last over a year. I cant even pick wich ones to play cause theres so many. For now ive just been going back and playing all the games i loved as a kid.
