As i will probably be ordering a guitar online this summer because most instruments in Iceland cost twice as much as they do in the US for example:mad: ...I will be needing some advice on online guitar stores, please post your experience (if you have any) with such stores. What is the best choice ?

(I didn't know if i should post this here or in gear, if i posted in the wrong place please let me know and i will move it ASAP)

A friend of mine bought some ibanez and esp from music123 about 2 years ago. Due to the great distance between Romania and the Unided States the guitars arrived after 3 or 4 weeks. They were in great shape. The down side with music 123 is that they charge a lot of money on transport. After that experience my friend boght another 2 esps form jrrshop.com . The transport taxes were much lower (but still from US to Romania) . Again the guitars were in perfect condition.

Yeah shipping from America might be quite expensive. I suggest checking out the German shops, also check out ebay.de - I have gotten quite a things from Germany, and postage for my snowboard (even bigger than a guitar obviously) was pretty cheap. Around 15 euros by UPS.

How much exactly? I'm form slovenia and that's not very far from romania. I guess the transport will be cheaper know for slovenia, since we are EU.

don't you have to pay a fee based on how much the item is valued at?

they charge for shipping based on weight. i dont know how much a snowboard weighs though, so i cant make a valid comparison
