Immolation - Unholy Cult

Dear technical death metal fans....i have news for you.

Immolation's upcomming album, which is expected around the fall, is named "Unholy Cult". The track listing is as follows:

They left Metalblade records back in september of last year......but i've found out that they're working with Olympic Records to produce this album.

I for one, cannot wait for this......i tremble with excitement just thinking about it!!:smash: :cool:

I also just recently downloaded and burned their debut album "Dawn of Possession". I didn't think it was going to be as good as it is.........this band always surprises me!

And i wouldn't usually burn a cd of such a great band, but i can't purchase this one anywhere. I'm still a little disappointed in myself, but there's nothing i can do!:(

Downloaded "Dawn of Possession".
Even the songs "Father, you´re not a father" and "Close to a world below". Like them more, perhaps of the better production.:confused: From which CD are they?

Both are off of their most recent album (2000 i think) "Close to a World Below". That's probably my favorite album by them, but the early stuff is well worth looking into as well.

If you liked the "Close..." material, check out "Unpardonable Sin" and "Lost Passion".

I'm almost certain it's out of print.

I downloaded all the songs off Audiogalaxy before it shut down, and burned myself a copy.....so i got all Immolation now.

Too bad though, i wish i could own the original Dawn of Possession.......a burnt cd is nothing.

Can't wait for the new disc either. Disciple, do you have "Here In After"? If so....what do you think of it?

Oh and you know that new Incantation album? It's been out here for a few weeks already, a friend of me bought it. It's called Blasphemy. Another of those albums i need to buy.

Sounds cool. Let me know what you think.......i just got it yesterday and i really like it, it might become my favorite Immolation cd. Tracks 3, 5 and 8 are fucking killer. (so is everything else though)

Blasphemy has been out here for a couple weeks, but i just saw it for the first time yesterday at the store. The cover art is quite different from the usual Incantation style.....not really sure if i love it or hate it, it's weird. I've heard good things about the cd, and i will buy it within a month's time...i just got a lot of expenses coming up.

I know you'll like Here In After though......same thing with Dawn. :vampire:

Memnoch i bought Here in After last week and downloaded all of Dawn of Possession (all but tracks 8 and 10). I must say of all albums, Dawn of Possession is my favorite. It has that early 90's production i like. It has some terrific riffs!

Dawn is pretty sweet.....i'm still hooked on Here In After right now though....i'd say that one's my favorite.

Close and Dawn are probably tied for second.

I can see it now......Disciple and Orc jumping with joy, while the rest of the board rolls their eyes at them 2 and myself. Anyways, i didn't read it all cause it's huge, but i read about half and the new album sounds to be fucking amazing. The production is said to be better than the previous albums....so you guys always complaining about that better shut the fuck up on this album.:)

I just can't wait. The album's finished....it's complete. The cover looks amazing.....i'm drooling right now.....WHEN IS IT COMING OUT!!?!??!?!
