Any advice on doing this? I've tried singing and screaming while playin' guitar, and it's hard. I ain't been playin' anythin' too complex neither.

PRACTICE AND EXPERIENCE
it doesnt come natural
I'd say start out SIMPLE.
Play the chords of some easy song (Unforgiven 2 comes to mind).
Try to talk while playing.
Try to hum one note for each chord you play.
Try to sing.
But stay at each step until you can do it. Then step up the difficulty with some other song, and after enough of this you will be doing it without problems.

When I play and sing at the same time it seems like I lose a lot of power. I have a way more powerful voice without my guitar. For example, we play Needled 24/7 by Bodom and I play guitar on that but don't have as powerful a voice. But then we do Coerced Coexistence by In Flames and I have a extremely strong voice (but i dont have my guitar). It's mainly the screams/growls/yells, that changes when I'm playing and when I'm not. It kind of sucks...

...Just a few points...
1. Trying to talk [normally] while playing guitar is harder than trying to sing while playing guitar.
2. Having lyrics in sync or with a pattern/beat to the music is easier.
Yeah, you stand to lose some power behind your voice also while playing guitar. To state the obvious, you can't really change the power of the guitar unless you crank up the amp, but the voice of course can change in half a second. So, in a way, you need to learn to play the guitar without staring at your guitar or thinking of your guitar, and just focus on the lyrics. After tons of guitar practice, you'll soon figure out that you don't need to focus soley on the guitar-but just the singing; in which way you'll use most of that "power" for a convicting voice. For me, it's basically that. I listen to the guitar to know that I'm playing it right, but thinking aloud (:p) the words. I can still hear if the guitar goes wrong or is right, because it'll go with my lyrics. So think "lyrics" when you're playing the guitar.
as was said, start out with something that's in time. angel corpse comes to mind, as good as all the vocal parts are in time, simple power chord-based riffs and a lot of "YAAAAAAAAHHHH" growls.
then when you've mastered it, then you can be like the devolved guy and play mathcore-influenced death metal with metalcore growls in mathcore time (and handle some of the albums samples as well) sound complex? IT IS
