I like them, eventhough Mr. Wylde's voice is annoying as hell (AT TIMES), sometimes it's kick ass.

WHAT is the fucking issue with Zakk Wylde's voice?? It's just... him, it doesn't annoy me at all. I fucking dig this stuff only I don't have the new(ish) album yet, merde...

zakk wylde is the best guitarplayer ever. if you dont like his voice nowadays you should listen to pride and glory, book of shadows and sonic brew. i think p&g and bos is the best hes done so far. but i have to say that i miss the the atmosphere and feeling on the new album and the drumsound fucking sucks.

BLS rules.Nothing wrong with his voice. He's a better singer than 76% of the deathmetal guys.
That's because 76% of the deathmetal guys can't sing. They can scream, but does it sound good? Most of the time, no.

BLS is good. Zakk singing is fine. Book of Shadows by Zakk is cool...the only thing i don't like much is that the bass is distorted...i don't know if thats on every album, but its on the one i have...Sonic Brew i believe

I first got "1919 eternal" and the day after i got that, I owned all his albums. my favorite songs are "life birth blood doom" and "demise of sanity". His stuff on Stronger than death is awesome too. Has anyone heard his and slash's version of voodoo child? Awesome stuff.

Yeah, that is quite annoying. I think that album was recorded badly too, but the rest of their stuff rocks!

I've changed my mind about the album "sonic brew" I think it fucking owns now. I can listen to all the songs without flipping, and there is so much emotion in the album.

I had the same reaction to Sonic Brew at first, I thought it wasn't nearly as heavy as Stronger than Death which I had heard first. I also thought the bass was a bit annoying but now its my favorite of the three studio albums.

Yeah, the only reason I'm looking forward to the new Ozzy record is for Zakk. Other than that, Ozzy can go fuck himself.

"Stoned and Drunk" ?? That's one of the dumbest titles I've heard

there is this one acoustic song by Zakk called "Spoke in the wheel" where he shreds this crazy fast pentatonic riff on an acoustic. thats really the only BLS song i like, all thier metal stuff falls short on the brutality.

2003-01-27, 13:23
he also plays like that on "speedball"

Um, I don't usually expect much from BLS cover art, but this is a bit plain. No, actually it's really fucking plain. http://www.zakkwylde.com/mainpage/bhr.jpg
Oh well, I'm sure the music will rock balls.

Here's my way of lookin at it though. In my opinion, 1919 Eternal was a sub-par BLS record, Zakk seems to have slipped into a formula on that album. The cover art for Eternal was also fairly boring. It also hasn't been that long since Zakk cranked out the Eternal record, I just don't want this one to sound rushed because it definately "looks" rushed.

Ozzy was quoted for saying "If Zakk's new record isnt a hit, I dunno what is!". I know he has to hype it up because it's his right hand man's band....but I'm just being optimistic.

I'm all for Zakk's new record to kick huge ass, but that has nothing to do with anything Ozzy has said or will say in the future. I ain't tryin to be negative, I just hope Zakk steps it up on this album.
