What does everyone think of Annihilator? I only have the King of the Kill cd, but I'm going to get another one or two this weekend.

My favorite records are the first two Alice in Hel and Never,never land and the 1999 release Criteria for black widow. Actually Criteria is one of my all-time favorite metal records, think Master of puppets,Slayer and the trademark Annihilator sound. Stunning. I also like the dark,cynical mood of the album.

Kill the king is good but it's actually one of the less good albums by the band (tells a lot about the quality of the other ones!).

The new one,Waking the Fury,is also very good.He experiments with his guitartone on this one.

annihilator rules bigtime. one of the bands that got me into metal, and jeff waters is probably one of the best guitarists around. 'king of the kill' is indeed one of the lesser albums. but it still kicks ass. my favorite album at the moment is 'refresh the demon', but which of the albums is my favorite tends to vary during the year.

I havn't heard that many songs of them, but they are fucking good. Alice in Hell is great.

No,but I did had a very lousy winter.Too much work,stress,work,problems and work.

Fucking hell, I was searching for Bloodbath, the band and I got Bloodbath (the song by these guys).

If classic thrash was ever fully-grown musically, it would sound like this.

Annihilator isnt really a band, its just a name. I dont think any of the members are the origional members and everyone has been replaced at least twice.

They're great musicians they make great songs. That's about it.
they're the kings of melodic trash metal.

It's true that it's Jeff's band, but he couldn't have achieved such great albums
like the first 2 all by himself. Just compare King of the kill and Never Neverland you'll understand.

Yeah, I hear their stuff on internet radio. I also have a couple of videos
from them that I taped years ago. Allison Hell and 'set the world on fire'

The one guy with long, straight, black hair, looks corny in the videos. Actually the videos make them look like an 80's hair band. The singer had a perm in the video too!

Hehe another band that time seems to have forgot. I love this website. Alice in Hell/Nevernever land kicks ass, Jeff Waters is WAY underrated.
