I just got a "new" car. A red 1966 Ford Mustang ragtop, I recently put a big ass Deicide decal in the back window. Its fucking awesome. And I just put a speaker system in it. Its kinda odd going through town blasting Gorguts. Well, I was wondering while I'm here, What do you drive?

I drive the 1989 Chevy Corsica that my mother gave me a few years ago. It's burgundy and needs new stabilizer somethingorothers and the cover on the gas doesn't shut cuz the clips broken. But from the survey I've taken of ones still on the road, and there are a lot like mine, I'm lucky I have the cover at all . Most are gone.
But I'm waiting on my mom to get her LHS and then I'm buying her New Yorker off her. It's a 95 and champagne color. Very clean car.
I also had a red '89 Ford Escort wagon when Denny and I were married. It was a great little car. And we had a Toyota Tercel that was also very nice.
But my all time most favorite in the whole world was my '77 ,orange and white International Scout II , with the locking hubs, 16 1/2" all terrain tires, air conditioning , Cruise control and kick ass stereo. It was a Rallye from Canada and that truck would go anywhere. It had a 345 V-8 International schoolbus engine in it.
I bought another one to use for parts but it didn't have the balls the other one did. And the body on them died long before the engines. I cried when they flatbedded them away and I sure miss the old Beast.

I was just watching Top Gear (a motoring show on TV here in the UK) and the presenters mentioned the findings. The scientists found that a train uses up more fuel per passenger, even when full, than if everyone on board were to drive to their destination by car.

The report also found that super-fast trains such as the Bullet and TGV use up more fuel per passenger than an airliner. Anyway, Top Gear contacted Friends Of The Earth with these findings only to receive the baffling reply of, "the greenest journey is one that is not made". Idiots.

So, if you want to save the Earth, don't use trains!

It's still in the restoration process, all it needs is a paint job (Dark blue and we're putting white racing stripes on it). We're doing a lot to the engine too. Other than the supercharge, we're putting in racing cams, long headers, glasspack mufflers, a 3 pack carb system, and a whole lot of tuning. It's gonna be pretty quick.

I've heard that the British driving test is extreamly hard.

We have to take a theory test that examines how well one knows the highway code. I think the pass mark is 30/35 but I'm not suer whether that has been raised within the last 6 months or so. Then we have the standard in-car test as normal.

Considering some of the idiots that I've seen on the road, I wouldn't say it was that hard to pass.
